Exclusive office building with 30 floors above ground.
Torre Europa is one of the most representative office buildings in Madrid located in the Azca business complex, on Paseo de la Castellana (CBD) on the corner of General Perón Street.
The renovation carried out by the Callison RTKL studio and completed in 2018, received the award from the Council for Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) and the 2019 award for the best high-rise building renovation. In addition, Torre Europa has obtained the LEED Gold certificate during its rehabilitation process, which recognizes buildings that have incorporated sustainable and highly efficient criteria in their operation and maintenance.
The works carried out included the creation of new entrances, including a square that allows entry from Paseo de la Castellana and where the creation of an access consisting of a glass cube 12 meters high, fixed with titanium inserts and with the tallest motorized revolving doors in Spain, with more than 5 meters in height, stands out meters high.
In addition, the façade has been covered with concrete with a stainless steel façade, enhancing its attractiveness aimed at a specific market that includes the most prestigious national and international companies.
The floors are diaphanous with just 3 pillars on an area of 1,400 m2. In the reform, the old perimeter fan coils were removed and relocated to the false ceiling, thus providing the offices with 360º degrees of brightness, improving energy consumption efficiency and allowing the use of 100% of the floor area.
Inside, the free height of 2.60 meters to the false ceiling and practically 4 to the slab is unbeatable in the business district. It also has intelligent luminaires with presence detection.
All elevators are intelligent, with the possibility of individual control, integration of winches in the elevator call, the possibility of programming access and security springs, and personalization of the messages on the elevator screens. It also has two different centers depending on the floor that is accessed, so that visitor access is more efficient.
With regard to facilities, Torre Europa has 310 parking spaces in its underground car park, exclusive parking with charging points for electric vehicles, shower area and changing rooms for building users, and secure bicycle parking.
Its location on Paseo de la Castellana, in the heart of the capital's financial district and at the foot of the Azca business and commercial complex, provides the building's tenants with the widest range of services in the city: restaurants, shops, gyms and hotels just a short walk away.
