Pinto is a town and municipal district in Spain belonging to the Region of Madrid, located 20 km to the south of the capital covering an area of 62.7 km2.
It borders to the north with Getafe; to the south with Torrejón de Velasco and Valdemoro; to the east with San Martín de la Vega; and to the west with Parla and Fuenlabrada.
Pinto is located between two important communication infrastructures, namely the Andalusia Road and the Madrid-Aranjuez railway. There is a monolith in the town centre in recognition of Pinto being the “geographical centre of the Iberian Peninsula”.
