Fuenlabrada is located in the southern area of the Region of Madrid, in the first ring of the A-42 axis. There is significant industrial activity, enhanced by the good communications with the capital on public transport and by road, in addition to its proximity to other towns with significant industry.
The main industrial zones in the town are: Cobo Calleja Industrial Estate, Polvoranca Industrial Estate, Cantueña Industrial Estate and El Palomo Industrial Estate. There are many industrial premises either for rent or sale in these areas.
Cobo Calleja Industrial Estate is of particular note, covering an area of 162 hectares, one of the biggest in Europe in terms of imports and distribution of wholesale products made in China.
There are many Industrial Estates in Fuenlabrada, namely: Acedinos Industrial Estate, El Álamo Industrial Estate, Callfersa Industrial Estate, Codein El Pinar Industrial Estate, Cogullada Industrial Estate, Cordel de la Carrera Industrial Estate, El Cruce Industrial Estate, La Laguna Industrial Estate, Matagallegos Industrial Estate, Niño de los Remedios Industrial Estate, La Olivilla Industrial Estate, El Palomo Industrial Estate, Polvoranca Norte Industrial Estate, Sevilla-Albarreja Industrial Estate, Sonsoles Industrial Estate, Tajapiés Industrial Estate, El Tempranal Industrial Estate, La Toca Industrial Estate, Uranga Industrial Estate, Valdonaire Industrial Estate and La Vega II Industrial Estate.
