Torrejón de Ardoz is a town in the Region of Madrid that covers an area of 32 km² and is located in the Henares Corridor, 20 km from Madrid. It borders to the north with Ajalvir and Daganzo de Arriba, to the east with Alcalá de Henares, to the south and west with San Fernando de Henares and to the northeast with Paracuellos del Jarama. Aviation is important to this town and still marks its expansion, since the National Institute for Aerospace Technology (INTA) is located here. Parque Europa, the lungs of Torrejón de Ardoz, covers an area of 233,000 m² and has 17 replicas of the most important monuments from Europe’s major cities.
